All vehicle rentals in Gloucestershire are governed by a Rental Agreement presented during booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This document outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance information, applicable fees, and your responsibilities associated with the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria
Requirements for Vehicle Rental
- To hire a vehicle in Gloucestershire, you must be at least 21 years old, although age restrictions may differ based on the vehicle type, with extra charges applicable for drivers under 25. A valid full driving licence suitable for the vehicle category is required, held for the duration specified in the Rental Agreement. Booking and Payment Process
- Reservations can be made via our website, over the phone, or in person at our Gloucestershire office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are usually required upon collecting the vehicle. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where appropriate. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or other dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should not be used for purposes it is not designed for, nor should it exceed passenger or weight limits. Driving outside agreed geographical boundaries requires prior approval.
Breaching these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Gloucestershire is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the rental amount paid in the last 12 months, except in cases of negligence resulting in death or personal injury, or for fraud.
